Wing USA State Leaders

Welcome to the new WING USA “State Leader Page” and to the effort for WING USA “State Leaders” in every state! You can click the email link in the State Leaders listing below to contact the State Leader in that state.

The purpose is to provide injured nurses, nurse assistants, and other healthcare workers with a contact in their state who has also experienced work injury and the consequences. Starting with the nine states indicated below, the goal is to have State Leaders in every state.

A WING USA State Leader may be a nurse, nurse assistant, or other healthcare worker who has suffered a work-related injury. Most have suffered back injuries from lifting patients and residents, the most common injury among healthcare workers, but other injuries are represented, too.

State Leaders are all volunteers, giving of themselves as they are able, to provide mutual support and encouragement and to share information with other injured healthcare workers in their state.

Become a WING USA State Leader!

The only requirement to become a WING USA State Leader is willingness to communicate with other injured nurses in your state. If you would like to become a WING USA State Leader, please email me: anne@wingusa.org.
